Mavis Eco Cool installs wall-mounted split, ceiling cassette, exposed ceiling and ducted aircond systems for homes and commercial properties across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Published installation pricing starts at RM250 per indoor unit for a standard 1.0 HP wall-mounted installation with up to 4 m of piping; cassette installation is RM550 per unit. Ducted concealed systems are quoted after a site survey.
A complete quotation depends on the unit capacity, pipe and cable route, drainage, outdoor-unit position, brackets and access. Extra copper piping, new electrical points, PVC casing, coring or difficult high-level access are inspected and priced before work begins. The unit and parts remain subject to the relevant manufacturer warranty.

What a Proper Aircond Installation Covers
Installation is more than mounting the indoor unit. The work includes planning the indoor and outdoor positions, routing insulated copper and drainage, checking the available electrical supply, securing the brackets, applying a vacuum, checking for leaks and commissioning the system. For cassette or ducted systems, ceiling access and the drainage route must also be assessed before the final quote.
When to Install, Replace or Repair
- ✓ Install a new system for a room or commercial area that does not yet have suitable cooling.
- ✓ Assess replacement when an existing unit has repeated major faults or when repair is no longer economical.
- ✓ Check the current unit first when cooling dropped suddenly; cleaning, leak repair or an electrical repair may solve the issue without replacement.
- ✓ Survey the site before changing capacity, because room size, sun exposure, ceiling height, insulation, occupancy and electrical supply affect unit selection.
- ✓ Confirm building rules for condominiums, offices and commercial sites before choosing the outdoor-unit and drainage positions.

When you do not need this
We would rather tell you not to book than sell you something that will not fix the problem.
- The existing unit is under 8 years old and simply not cooling. Get it checked first - a wash or a repair is far cheaper than a new system.
- You are replacing purely to save electricity. Real savings depend on your unit age, run hours and tariff block. Ask us to look at what you have before you commit.
- The room is uncomfortable but the unit is correctly sized and healthy. Sometimes the issue is insulation, sun load or airflow, not the aircond.
What changes the final quote
The published price covers the standard job. These are the things that move it, and all of them are confirmed with you before any work starts:
- Capacity. RM250 (1.0 HP), RM280 (1.5 HP), RM300 (2.0 HP), RM350 (2.5 HP), RM380 (3.0 HP and above). Ceiling exposed RM500, cassette RM550.
- Piping run. The published price covers the standard run. Extra copper beyond that is charged per foot and quoted before work starts.
- Electrical work. An extra wiring point, or a new circuit run back to the distribution board, is quoted separately after the technician confirms the routing.
- Casing and finish. PVC trunking for a clean wall finish is optional and quoted per length.
- Access and brackets. High-level mounting, new or replacement brackets, coring through concrete, or scaffolding for an awkward condenser position.
Warranty and its limits
Installation work covers mounting, piping, vacuum, drainage and commissioning. Leak repairs carry a 30-day leak warranty. The unit itself is covered by the manufacturer warranty, whose length and terms vary by brand and model; we hand over the manufacturer paperwork on completion and register the unit where the brand requires it. Warranty cover does not extend to damage from power surges, water ingress, or later alterations made by others.
Aircond Installation FAQs
Can I supply my own aircond and just hire you to install?
Yes. Many customers buy from Lazada, Shopee, or a brand showroom and engage us for installation only. Our pricing (from RM250 per unit) is the same regardless of where you bought the unit.
How do I know what HP rating my room needs?
Room size is only one factor. Sun exposure, ceiling height, insulation, occupancy, electrical supply and the intended operating hours can change the suitable capacity. Send photos and room details so the site assessment can confirm the HP recommendation.
How long is the installation warranty?
The unit and its parts are covered by the manufacturer warranty, whose terms vary by brand and model — we hand over the manufacturer paperwork on completion.
Do you install on weekends?
Yes. Saturday installations are common; Sunday available for commercial customers. WhatsApp us your preferred date.
Do you handle multi-unit homes and offices?
Yes — most of our installation work is multi-unit. Landed homes with 3–6 indoor units, or offices with 4–10 cassettes. Multi-unit jobs qualify for a per-unit discount.
