Our maintenance documentation supports these obligations: written work scope per visit, dated chemical dosing logs, conductivity and TDS readings, basin and fill-pack condition photos, and fan-motor vibration notes where applicable. We also coordinate with third-party water-quality auditors and your facility management team for compliance audits.

When you do not need this

We would rather tell you not to book than sell you something that will not fix the problem.

• The tower was stripped and cleaned recently and performance is stable. Routine inspection is enough until the next planned interval.
• The problem is downstream of the tower. Poor cooling can come from the chiller, the pumps or the control side. We check where the loss actually is before quoting tower work.
• You need water treatment chemistry certification or Legionella risk assessment. That is specialist, separately-accredited work - we will tell you to bring in a water-treatment specialist rather than pretend it is within our scope.

What changes the final quote

The published price covers the standard job. These are the things that move it, and all of them are confirmed with you before any work starts:

• Tower size and type. Open or closed circuit, and the physical size, drive the labour and the volume of cleaning required.
• Fill-pack condition. Cleaning is one price; replacing scaled or collapsed fill pack is another, and that is only known once it is opened up.
• Scaling and sludge volume. Heavy scale and basin sludge take longer and need more disposal.
• Shutdown window. Work that has to happen over a weekend, at night or in a short planned shutdown costs more than work with open access.
• Access and height. Rooftop towers, restricted plant rooms and permit-to-work requirements all add time.

Warranty and its limits

Cooling tower work does not cover fouling that returns because of untreated make-up water, nor mechanical parts beyond their manufacturer warranty. Every cooling tower job is quoted on site after inspection - we do not publish a fixed price for tower work because the scope genuinely cannot be known until the tower is opened.
