What is the difference between a chemical wash and a normal service?
A normal wash is a quick water-based clean — washable parts dismantled, washed and reinstalled, no chemicals — from RM90 per unit. A chemical wash is a deep clean: the coil, blower wheel and drainage tray are washed with a coil-safe chemical to remove mould and biofilm. Wall-mounted chemical wash is RM130 for 1.0HP, RM150 for 1.5HP, RM180 for 2.0HP, RM200 for 2.5HP and RM250 for 3.0HP and above; cassette chemical wash is RM350. Choose a normal service for routine quarterly upkeep, and a chemical wash when the unit smells, cools weakly, or has not been deep-cleaned in 12 months.
