What is the difference between a chemical wash and a normal service?
A normal wash is a quick water-based clean — washable parts dismantled, washed and reinstalled, no chemicals — from RM90 per unit. A chemical wash is a deep clean: the coil, blower wheel and drainage tray are washed with a coil-safe chemical to remove mould and biofilm, from RM130 per unit. Choose a normal service for routine quarterly upkeep, and a chemical wash when the unit smells, cools weakly, or has not been deep-cleaned in 12 months.
