Independent Mitsubishi Servicing — Said Plainly

Mavis Eco Cool is an independent, SSM-registered and CIDB-certified aircond company. We are not Mitsubishi Malaysia's official service centre, and we would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. What we are is a team that works on Mitsubishi units every working day across KL and Selangor. One thing many owners do not realise: Mitsubishi Electric (MSY/MS series) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (SRK series) are two different companies — we service both, at the same standard rates.

Every service we offer covers Mitsubishi: normal water-based wash (RM90 per unit), chemical wash (from RM130), repair and diagnosis (free checking, quote before work), R32 and R410A gas refill (from RM150, charged only after a pressure and leak test) and new unit installation (from RM250). Full rates are on the price list — Mitsubishi units are standard rate, with no brand surcharge.

To book, message WhatsApp 019-221 7190 with your unit model (or a photo of the indoor unit), the symptom and your area.

Mitsubishi Units We Service Most

  • Mitsubishi Electric R32 inverters (MSY series) — the premium wall-mount we see in newer condos and landed homes; routine servicing protects the inverter’s efficiency.
  • Mitsubishi Heavy Industries wall-mounts (SRK series) — a separate company with its own parts chain; we service these daily and quote SRK parts separately.
  • Older R410A-era wall-mounts — still plenty in service; we advise honestly when a repair no longer makes sense against a replacement.
  • Ceiling cassettes — common in shops, offices and F&B; cassette chemical wash is RM350 per unit, canvas (bag) wash RM250.
  • Ceiling exposed units — chemical wash RM350; installation RM500.

Common Mitsubishi Error Codes We Get Called For

The Mitsubishi Electric codes below are the patterns we get called for most; Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (SRK) uses a different code system. Either way, treat this as a first read — final diagnosis is on site, and checking is free.

CodeWhat it usually points toWhat we do
P4Drain float switch triggered — water not drainingClear the drain line, test the float switch and pump
P5Drain pump faultTest and replace the drain pump if needed; quoted first
P8Pipe temperature abnormality — often refrigerant or airflowPressure and leak test before any gas top-up

P1Intake air sensor errorTest and replace the sensor; quoted before work

Seeing a different code? Send it on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it points to before we come.

Mitsubishi Warranty — What Is Safe and What Should Go Official

Honest guidance, because this is where brand pages usually go quiet:

  • Cleaning and routine maintenance — normal wash and chemical wash are standard upkeep of the unit. This is the work we do daily on Mitsubishi units of every age.
  • In-warranty faults on major components — an in-warranty compressor or PCB failure should be claimed through the official Mitsubishi channel first. Warranty terms vary by model and purchase date, so check your warranty card before paying anyone for that class of repair.
  • We tell you which is which. If we inspect a unit and believe the fault is claimable under the manufacturer warranty, we say so instead of charging you to repair it.
  • Our own workmanship warranty is written on the receipt: 3 months on chemical wash and minor repairs, 6 months on major repairs, 12 months on new installations.

Mitsubishi Service FAQs

Do you service Mitsubishi inverter units?

Yes. R32 inverter wall-mounts are the most common Mitsubishi units we service in KL and Selangor, alongside non-inverter models, ceiling cassettes and ceiling exposed units. Servicing and chemical wash prices are the same for inverter and non-inverter units.

Can you get Mitsubishi spare parts?

Yes. Common parts for both Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries units are available from local suppliers, and we quote the part and waiting time on WhatsApp before you commit to anything.

My Mitsubishi unit shows an error code — can you diagnose it?

Yes. Checking is free. Tell us the code (or the blinking-light pattern) on WhatsApp and we can usually tell you what it points to before we arrive. Final diagnosis is confirmed on site, since codes vary by model, and repairs are quoted before any work starts.

Is it cheaper than the official Mitsubishi service centre?

For cleaning, chemical wash and out-of-warranty repairs, an independent servicer is usually the more economical option, and our prices are published — normal wash RM90, chemical wash from RM130 per wall-mount unit. For in-warranty claims on major components, the official Mitsubishi channel is the right place, and we will tell you when that applies.

Will independent servicing void my Mitsubishi warranty?

Routine cleaning and maintenance is normal upkeep of the unit. For a fault covered by the manufacturer warranty — for example an in-warranty compressor — claim through the official Mitsubishi channel first; warranty terms vary by model and purchase date. If we inspect a unit and believe the fault is claimable under warranty, we say so instead of charging you to repair it.

Aircond Service by Brand

Dedicated service pages for the brands we work on most: Daikin, Panasonic, Midea, Acson, LG, Samsung, York. Every other major brand — Toshiba, Sharp, Hisense, Haier, Fujitsu and more — is serviced at the same standard rates.
