Certifications — Mavis Eco Cool
SSM Registration
Mavis Eco Cool is registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) — the official government body responsible for company registration in Malaysia. SSM registration means we operate as a formal, accountable business entity. When you hire a registered company for aircond service, you have a documented contractor relationship, clear recourse if something goes wrong, and the assurance that the team turning up is a legitimate business, not an unregistered individual operating without accountability. Our SSM registration details are available on request.
CIDB Certification
We are certified by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia for installation work. CIDB certification is the standard requirement for contractors carrying out mechanical and electrical installation work in Malaysia, including aircond installation, relocation, and associated pipework. It demonstrates that our installation team meets the competency requirements set by the national construction industry regulator. Commercial and institutional clients — offices, medical centres, industrial facilities — regularly require CIDB certification before awarding contracts; our certification means there is no gap in our credentials for any commercial job.
Brand Knowledge
Our technicians are trained on and regularly service all major aircond brands sold in Malaysia, including: Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric, York, Acson, LG, Samsung, Hitachi. High-volume work across these brands keeps our technicians current on model-specific quirks — drainage configurations, inverter fault codes, refrigerant types, and coil designs that vary across manufacturers. We also service Toshiba, Sharp, Midea, and Fujitsu units. We are independent and not an authorised partner of any brand — we service them all.
Leak Warranty
Leak repairs carry a 30-day leak warranty. If the same leak returns within 30 days of our visit, we come back at no additional charge. The warranty covers the leak repair we carried out; it does not cover a different leak developing elsewhere in an ageing system, or faults unrelated to the original repair. Parts replaced during a job are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by part and brand. We will advise on manufacturer warranty terms when parts are sourced and fitted. Any other warranty terms are confirmed in writing before paid work begins.
