How we started
Mavis Eco Cool started as a small team with one straightforward goal: do aircond servicing properly in KL and Selangor. The idea came from frustration — frustration with the way most aircond service calls go. A technician arrives late, gives a vague diagnosis, then quotes double once the unit is open. The bill doesn't match what was agreed on WhatsApp. The walls get splattered with cleaning agent. The unit smells the same two weeks later.
We decided to do it differently. The best aircond service, we figured, is one the customer barely has to think about. The technician arrives within the confirmed window, works cleanly, leaves the unit running quietly, and the final charge matches the upfront quote exactly. No hidden extras. No "found extra dirt" upsells mid-job. Just the work, done properly, at a price agreed before anyone opens a single panel.
That philosophy has guided every job we've taken since we started. It's why customers in KL and Selangor keep calling us back, and why we've grown steadily through referrals rather than advertising. When the work speaks for itself, word travels.
What we believe
Four principles sit at the core of how Mavis Eco Cool operates. They're not taglines — they're the specific decisions we make on every job.
Transparent pricing. Every job is quoted upfront on WhatsApp before we send a technician. What we quote is what you pay. We don't discover "extra problems" once the unit is open and then renegotiate mid-job. If a job turns out to be beyond the scope of a standard service, we tell you before we start and give you the choice — not after.
Clean workmanship. Drop sheets go on the floor before anything else. Chemical wash uses a sealed pump bag so no detergent runs down your wall or stains your furniture. We pack out every piece of equipment we pack in. The space we worked in should look the same when we leave — except for the unit running better.
Warranty backs the work. Every job carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. If the same issue returns within the window, we come back at no additional charge. We stand behind the work because we're confident in how it's done.
Three languages. We communicate in English, Malay, and Tamil. The technician you book with on WhatsApp is the technician who shows up at your door — no surprises, no language barriers, no relay through a call centre that doesn't know the job details.
Who we serve today
Mavis Eco Cool now serves more than 2,000 homes across the Klang Valley. Our commercial work spans offices, retail outlets, restaurants and clinics across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor — businesses that need reliable, documented aircond maintenance on a scheduled basis. Beyond residential and commercial, we also carry out industrial cooling tower maintenance for select facilities that need a contractor who can handle the full scope.
We run 100+ projects every month, with two to three jobs daily across the team. That volume keeps our technicians sharp — the more units you service, the faster you diagnose and the fewer callbacks you generate. It also means we can usually offer same-day slots across most of KL and Selangor, because there's always a technician already in your area.
The team is still focused. We haven't expanded just to expand. The goal is the same as it was on day one: every customer should be able to trust the quote, trust the technician, and trust the result. That's what Mavis Eco Cool is built on.
